7-month-old child dies after being kicked by pony, authorities say

HARMONY, Minn. (KTTC/Gray News) - A 7-month-old girl in Minnesota died after being kicked in the head by a pony, according to authorities.The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office said it happened on Tuesday around 2 p.m.According to the initial investigation, the child and an adult family member were both riding in a wagon pulled by a pony when the animal spooked and kicked the child.Deputies responded to the scene along with Harmony Ambulance, the Harmony Fire Department and the Preston Police Department.Authorities are still looking into the situation.
