Four people injured after collision between MTD bus and car near Santa Barbara City College West Campus — Naples Health news

Four people in a Santa Barbara Metropolitican Transit District bus were injured after colliding with a car on Cliff Drive next to the Santa Barbara City College West Campus parking lot Tuesday morning. A Rivian car was turning eastbound onto the 1000 block of Cliff Drive when it clipped the side-view mirror of an MTD bus driving in the same direction. The MTD bus made a sudden brake, causing four passengers to sustain minor injuries as a result, authorities said. Three people were taken to Cottage Hospital, and no one in the Rivian car was injured.   The Santa Barbara Police Department responded to the incident at 8:13 a.m. alongside the Santa Barbara City Fire Department and the American Medical Response, or AMR. “The collision remains under investigation, and no additional information is available for release at this time,” said Cmdr. Nathan Beltran of the Santa Barbara Police Department. The post Four people injured after collision between MTD bus and car near Santa Barb
