(WWSB) - Sarasota County Schools, ABC7’s Chalkboard Champions, and Carl Reynolds Law are asking the community to donate school supplies and money during a Day of Giving on Thursday, Aug. 6.Today on Suncoast View, attorney Carl Reynolds joins us to discuss why this initiative is so important to him and the community. The drive will support local teachers and classrooms as the district prepares for the 2026-27 school year, Sarasota County Schools said.Donations will be accepted from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. at drive-thru drop-off locations at Carl Reynolds Law offices in Sarasota and Venice.
