(WWSB) - Line dancing at Joyland-The Country Junction offers residents a way to stay active, sharpen memory and build social connections, according to line dance instructors Rose Prim and Jeff French.The venue, located at 8333 North Lockwood Ridge Road in Sarasota, hosts line dance lessons three nights a week. All classes run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and are open to all ages.Class scheduleWednesday classes are designed for ultra beginners — those who have never line danced before, prefer a slower pace or want to polish their skills. Thursday and Saturday classes are open to beginners through intermediate dancers.
